2015 Spring Foray Schedule Posted!

Our foray director for the upcoming year, Andy Tanas, has finalized the 2015 spring foray schedule. There are 12 forays from May 2nd to June 6th.

MST members whose membership dues are up to date will also receive the foray schedule by email - check your spam or junk mail folders.

March 16th Meeting Video Available

Bruno Pretto's presentation Mushroom Cultivation on Hardwood Logs is now available to MST members to watch on the meetings video page.

Mycosource specializes in spawn production for the cultivation of shiitake and oyster mushrooms on hardwood logs. They endeavor to act as an educational enterprise for the dissemination of products and information about mushrooms and mushroom cultivation as part of a diversified and sustainable forest ecosystem.

Annual General Meeting coming up on April 27th

The April 27th meeting is the MST's Annual General Meeting. At the AGM, the business of the previous year is reviewed, resolutions for the upcoming year are decided, and MST members elect the incoming Board of Directors. If you're interested in influencing the activities and the future direction of the MST, please attend!

April 27th Speaker Confirmed

The speaker for the April 27th meeting will be the MST's own Education Committee chair Pat Burchell, presenting on MST contributions to the Ontario BioBlitz Program and a new booklet, Mushrooms of Toronto, which will appear as part of the City of Toronto Biodiversity Series.

This meeting is also the MST's Annual General Meeting.
