From the MST Collections: The Mushroom Models: Granular Dotted Bolete

Caps are globelike, or flat round , brown/yellowish with a slimy easily removed skin on top. Spores are attached , yellow . Stem is finger high and thick, it is stiff full and the upper portion is punctuated with small dots. The flesh is unchangeable yellow, juicy and has a pleasant fruity taste. Grows plentifully in summer in rich wooded areas and grassy places . It is easy prey - just like the cow mushroom - for maggots.
