The Mycological Society of Toronto is always actively seeking new members. Membership comes with these and other benefits:

• Four issues per year of the MST newsletter, Mycelium
• Participation in our half-day spring and fall forays and field trips
• Attendance at membership meetings featuring presentations on topics related to the field of mycology
• Borrowing privileges for books, articles and papers from the Society's library
• A discount of $5.00 US on membership to the North American Mycological Association (NAMA)
• Opportunity to attend the annual fall weekend Cain Foray
• Access to members-only content on the website

The annual membership fee for new memberships or renewals is (CDN) $30.00, or $55.00 for 2 years, which includes immediate members of a family at the same mailing address.

New memberships are active immediately, and the membership period is 1 or 2 years from the date of payment (not by calendar year). For example, a new member who joins the MST with a 1-year membership on October 14th, 2024 will renew their membership on October 14th, 2025.

You will read the Mycelium newsletter in PDF format on the website. If you wish to receive the newsletter in printed form by mail, there is an additional $10 yearly charge in order to cover printing and distribution costs.
