MST Photo Calendar Contest 2019

Due to the success of our Photo Calendar Contest last year, we’re going to give it another go this year!

We had some great entries last year, and hope to do even better this year. Get those cameras out early and get snapping! This year’s deadline will be August 30, 2019, so that we can have calendars available for sale at the Cain foray in September.

We ask that you submit your photographs as digital JPEG files (most common file types used by digital cameras), in as high a resolution as you can provide. Also, the preferable format for photos is “landscape”, or widescreen format, commonly used in most calendars. Entries can be emailed to calendar@myctor.org.

See full Contest Rules for details.

Gill attachment doesn't look right for Inocybe tahquamenonensis. Would love any input.

Darko Matovina: Very nice find sir, looks like they might be strobilomyces strobilaceus.

Carl de Boer: Nope. Strobilomyces is a bolete. These ones have gills (although it's hard to tell from the photos). They're also tiny (7cm tall, 2cm wide cap).
The scalyness definitely looks similar to S. strobilaceus though.

Walter Sturgeon: Yes, Inocybe tahquamenonensis
